We select numerous bands at random for quality control testing. We test the resistance rating of each band to make sure it EXCEEDS its rated resistance. We use the attachments in the set with several of the bands and try to destroy them by stretching them to EIGHT TIMES their original length, so far we have not been able to cause any of the bands to break or any of the parts to fail. (don't do this at home, we take numerous safety precautions while doing these tests)
